It was a beautiful day for a farmers market yesterday! If you didn’t make it, you missed out on the start of something great! We’ve started a YouTube channel, and our first video will give you an idea of what our market is all about. It was great to visit with our amazing vendors and sample some great products. Sure, if you want leafy greens we’ve got you covered, but our market also has local chicken and eggs, goat cheese, artisan breads, pottery, nuts, organic yarn, music, activities for the kids and much more!
A late, but very welcome addition to our day vendors is Asheville’s own Tupelo Honey! They brought granola, sauces and dressings, jams, pickles, chow-chow and spiced pecans, and they are just getting started! We’d also like to welcome Natalie’s Naturals as our newest member vendor! They started as a day vendor and decided Oakley Farmers Market has a good thing going. Thanks for your support!
Thanks again to all the volunteers, vendors, and residents for making such a great beginning to what we hope to be a community institution for years to come!
