Lots of news this week! First off, we want to draw your attention to our Contact page where you’ll notice a new phone number with which you can get in contact with our market organizers. We’ve also updated all the forms on our Forms Page, so be sure to check that out.
Second, we’d like to say a big THANK YOU to our market sponsors, the American Chestnut Foundation, Jennifer Ferre, and Brett Spivey! Your thoughtful donations help make our market possible and help us bring fresh local food to more people in our community. And we are always in need of more sponsors to keep the market running smoothly! If you would like to become a sponsor of the Oakley Farmers Market, please download our sponsorship form.
And of course, here are a few new things you can expect at the market this week:
First off, welcome to our new member vendors:
Bath Salts and Beyond: Bath salts and jewelry
Angelic Scentsations: Soy candles, soaps, wax arts, bath crystals, bath bombs, kids’ soap, natural baby line, foot care line
Buck Naked All Natural: Extensive line of herbal salves, tinctures and lip balms, as well as colloidal silver
New this week:
The Chocolate Lab will have ice cream toppings!
Rachel’s Delectables will have Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake.
Gladheart Farms will have carrots.
Whispersholler Farms will have peaches and strawberries.
This week, we will also have the music of Pearl Street, an all-accoustic duo with folk, rock, blues, bluegrass, and gospel inspirations.
As always, we are looking for volunteers to donate time to help set up or break down the information tent. Even twenty minutes is helpful. If you can spare a few minutes of your time for our little market, please sign up at the info tent this Thursday. We’re also looking for outdoor furniture donations: benches, tables, & large umbrellas. Please contact us if you have any of those items you can donate.
You can enjoy all this and much much more this Thursday from 2-6pm at 607 Fairview Rd. behind the Oakley Methodist Church. See you there!
